Summer Thunder - 1. The FallHow long is the fall down to earth?
Mist swirls around my feet, hiding the descent down to the ground. I shift on top of the wooden fence, the soaked wood creaking under my feet. I curl my wings tighter to me, fidgeting with my scaled gloves.
It's already morning, and I should have made my jump hours ago. But I could barely leave my room. I couldn't stop scrubbing my arms.
The smell of blood is still so strong. Hot iron blooms in my nostrils like the sticky red liquid is still smeared across my face, my clothes, my arms.
But it isn't there anywhere on my skin. I've rubbed myself pink. It isn't there. It can't be there.
Gravel scrapes behind me. I nearly fall off the fence.
I can't be discovered. Once someone finds the corpses, once they know I'm gone, I'm dead. And yet I still don't want to leave the ones who will kill me.
Gravel crunches harder behind me. Someone's going to spot me and capture me, and that will be the end of that. My arms shake at my side.
I lean forward, spre
PROMPT - Prison Fight/The Guest “Stupid dragon,” I mutter, kicking the dung-colored drake’s haunches.
He growls, his eyes opening to a slit to glare at me.
“Don’t even.” Getting to my feet again, my eyes dart around the tiny cell. This place wasn’t meant to hold more than a few people. And definitely not meant to hold a dragon. “If you could just do what you’re supposed to be able to do, like every illusionist out there other than you, we wouldn’t be in this mess.”
His eyebrow cocks, and if those scaled lips could form words, I’d bet the clouds that he’d be accusing me, “You’re an illusionist too, don’t blame me.”
Tightening my wings against my back, I clutch my too-human arms across my chest and dig my pathetic claws into my skin. “We both know I don’t have the power to break us free.”
For a moment longer he eyes m
InfiniteI can't understand how a city can be so quiet.
It's a city for God's sake. Not some little village or small town. I don't care if it's the dead of night. Everyone doesn't just drop from the face of the planet when the sun goes down.
I sigh and lean against the railing of my balcony, looking up at where the stars should be. It's still hard to adjust to it. All my childhood I'd seen the stars painted and splotched across the skies to tell twists and tales that stretch on endlessly.
Now even the stars have forsaken me in this crowded, empty place.
I squint up at one pinprick of light in the sky. Probably a satellite or something pointless like that. Not something infinitely far away, a true light in that ocean of darkness. Just a reflection against metal and plastic and crap that will one day be sucked out of into the abyss of space, never to be cared for again.
It gets brighter.
My eyebrows rise. A comet? I guess it's possible.
It keeps getting larger.
Is it going to hit th
Home Each delicate piece of paper feels familiar in my hands. I trace the letters as if I can read them through touch. As if your voice would echo through them if I felt them enough.
One by one, I lay each letter into a stack on the floor. I live in each memory. These letters are my sanctuary for just that moment. I wonder at how you must have looked with every word you wrote. The excitement, the fear, the loss, the love. I nearly feel you next to me. Your arms curling around me, your breath against my neck as you ask what I’m doing.
I ache for it.
I have the last letter you ever wrote on my hands. Your writing is shaky, nearly impossible to make out. I don’t think anyone would blame you, though. Considering.
I place that one down on top of the heap. I smile. It’s impressive to see us in a pile, all of our memories, our moments of love, our moments of hate, piled together.
I pull a box of matches out of my coat pocket. I strike one to life. I toss i
Even when they’re recorded, in writing or voices themselves, the words can be twisted out of proportion. People don’t seem to understand the significance of words as they’re said.
“I won’t ever leave.”
“You have my word.”
It seems to be my specialty to destroy those words. To say those things that touch your very soul, that move you into being more than you could have been before. It’s a power.
And I’m sick with it.
It happens without me realizing it anymore. I remember when it was fun, when it was a game to play with people like that. It was a rush. Pure control.
But now I don’t feel the rush. I don’t even feel the pull to do it. It’s so much a part of me that I can’t turn it off anymore. I’ve pushed away every friend and loved one. My own family treats me like I carry the plag
SnowfallI feel like I’m flickering in and out of existence, just like the neon signs and streetlights lining the streets. They make me feel so small, towering over me.
The snow has silenced this street, this city. It feels like all that exists are walls of black brick and lights and the nothingness of the blizzard. I reach out and let the minuscule bits of ice cling to me.
They seem so lost and so frantic as they fall, just like how I was. But they settle into the ground and become a part of the whole, where they’ll rest until their time is up. And I feel like I’m still falling.
I walk forward again, the soft crunch of my footsteps being the only sound in the silent storm. It’s a beautiful sight, seeing the snow fall without wind to interrupt the pattern. It’s how it’s supposed to be. When the winds come, well, that’s how you end up with people like me.
I reach one of the old streetlights, the ones that still hang on wires. I remember when I first fell
CrayonI roll the crayon between my fingers, snorting as the name comes into view again.
I kinda feel bad for the crayon, honestly. It even resembles the skin color of a hairless bear. The more I think about it, the more disturbing it seems that it's gross shade of red is why it's named what it is.
With a sigh, I lean against the wall of the hall and slide down it. Nothing much to do now but wait.
I loll my head to the side, regarding the five-year-old with complete boredom. "What?"
"That's my crayon. I want it back." She pauses. "I mean, I would like it back, please."
A proper little princess in training, hmm?
"Well, how do I know it's yours?" I ask.
"Because it's missing from my box. See?"
Luck kid. Who doesn't want the one-twenty set at her age? Hell, I'm eighteen and I'm still jealous.
"You could have taken that one out just to convince me you need a new one."
"Why would I do that? It's an ugly color. I only want it 'cause I need it."
"None of your
Tremble - Help I'm AliveHe only offered his hand.
I didn't have to take it.
Why did I take it?
He stands in front of me now, and I can't take my eyes off his frame. Beautiful monstrosity he is.
Like I'm the one to talk at this point.
"Are we going to keep moving?" I whisper. My legs were still wobbly from having run so far, but I'm afraid. I want to keep going.
"No, we'll be fine here."
"Can't they track our scent?"
"Maybe, depending on who they send after us. But it's about to rain, and that will cover our tracks no matter who they send." How can he sound so sure?
"And what if it doesn't rain?"
As if to be dramatic, thunder cracks in the distance. I roll my eyes.
"When will we move again, then?" I continue to question.
Finally, he turns around. "Why are you so eager to keep moving? Like I said, no one will catch us here. You can finally rest."
I take a moment to study his face. I try to look for the demon I saw inside him before. I try to make myself disgusted in him. "I don't want to rest."
30DoW: Order - Until we Bleed"Is that an order, Rhair?"
I meet his eyes. He has that same sarcastic grin as always. And I can't help it.
I raise my fist and punch him in the jaw.
Where my fist met his face, there's now a gapping black hole. I gasp, scrambling backwards.
"What did you do that for?" he growls, rubbing the edges of the black pit in his face. It's spreading.
"Jeir, wh-what's wrong with your face?"
"You punched it." It's not his teasing tone. He takes slow steps forward and I scramble backwards. The back of my head hits a wall.
"It's your fault, Ariava." His face is gone, his torso's being consumed, and it's spreading off his body. It's eating all of the light in the room.
He reaches out an arm to me, darkness crawling from it towards me. And I can't pull back. He's right. It's my fault. I can't take it back. Him, Ozzy, Saphi, Zyda, they were all consumed by my selfishness. Now it's my turn.
His fingers brush my skin, and it feels warm.
Then the darkness consumes us both.
I start upright, the sheets fa

France X Sick!Reader - I'll Be There For You
You lay in your bed, stomach pains and a constant nauseated feeling. You've already puked twice today and you feel like you don't want to anymore. You sigh and hear a knock at the door. You got up and your head pounded, causing you to hold a hand to it. You walk to the door and open it to reveal your flirty, best friend Francis or better known as the personification of France.
"'Ello (Y/N)! 'Ow are you doing?" Francis asked with the accent that you found pretty cute. Okay you admit, you have a giant slight crush on the Frenchie. "Terrible." You simply replied. "Oh? What's wrong?" He asked. "I'm sick. That's what. I think I have a stomach virus." You replied, grumpily. Sickness messes with your emotions, makes you kind of grumpy.
"Do you 'ave a fever?" Francis asked as you moved aside to let him in and you closed the door. "I dunno to be honest." You replied. "Zhen you must ta
Tarzan [A Signless x Reader fanfic] Chapter 1How the hell did you get to this place? Heck you didn’t know…it was weird and dark and spooky and you swore you heard creatures somewhere.
All you remember was laying on your bed, enjoying a good book and sipping some lovely tea then BAM! You were falling from the sky and landed hard on the greyish ground, clenching your book as if it was going to save you. And on the floor you still laid, before regaining yourself and standing up, wiping off the dirt– or whatever it was off of your being.
“Bloody hell...” You cursed, a deep frown marring your face and your nose crinkling in slight displeasure. Still clenching your book, you took off towards…was it the south or the east? Whatever! You didn’t care about directions, as long as you could find a way out of this place.
You shivered at the night wind, and wrapped the bathrobe around you, since you had forgotten that you were still in a nightgown, and that was indecent for a lady to wear out in publ
Attack on Titan: Erwin x reader x Levi Pt.1There was a feeling of pity in sitting heavy in your stomach.. and your chest. You sat outside of the closed off door and leaned against the frame. The sight was burned into your memory. Erwin had been so covered in blood, no one could tell if it was from a wound of his own or from the comrades falling around him. It was disturbing when a shaky voice called out his name, and he didn't move, he didn't look like he was breathing. Your mind began to swim in hysteria again before you opened your eyes and took a breath. You were safe in the building, he was safe in the building.. He was alive. You honestly struggled to remember how Levi had found the both of you as quickly as he did, but.. Thank God for that little man. A sharp exhale pushed through your lips as you turned around and opened the door quietly, catching sight of Levi sitting on a stool next to a steel bathtub. Erwin still being unconscious, Levi took it upon himself to take care of the commander.
He wore his uniform, onl
Christmas Girlfriend - First Advent
Christmas Girlfriend – First Advent
It was that time of the year again. The Bells were ringing, the snow was falling and everybody was in a great mood.
Of course this accounted for Brian too.
He was humming softly to himself as he was walking down the pedestrian area in the city center. Even though it was still four weeks till Christmas, everybody was already out preparing for the great celebration.
Be it buying presents for their loved ones, enjoying a hot wine punch or taking part in many pre-Christmas activities. Everyone was busy.
Brian grinned to himself, thinking about his parents and his sister and how great it would be to see them again.
He was of medium height, had shoulder long, messy blonde hair and wore a tick leather coat to protect him against the snow. A thick green scarf was fastened around his neck and he wore a similar colored woolen cap.
He stopped at the center of the marketplace and turned for three hundred sixty degrees. The air smelled of hot chocolate, of
Tarzan [A Signless x Reader fanfic] Chapter 2You woke up to someone poking your side and murmuring something in your ear. You groan, swatting the hand away and trying to fall asleep again, only to be poked again much harder this time.
“Okay, okay I’m up!” You groaned, pulling yourself up in a sitting position, eyes droopy and hair bundled up in knots. The creature, you really needed to stop calling him that…it sounded quite rude, stood up and walked over to your book.
You watched him with weary eyes, that was your favorite book and you swore if he caused any harm to it, you were going to hurt him…a lot. He examined the cover, before looking at the contents inside with curious eyes. It was cute…in a way. You sat on the leaf-bed for a few more minutes, watching him as he leafed through the book before a brilliant plan came to mind. You could teach him your language, and then he could teach you…his?
Yes such a brilliant plan! But first you needed to give him a name, just so you wouldn
Kurloz x Reader| For The Love Of Faygo! "Dude. Dude. I fucking love you!" You squealed as you looked at the things in front of me.
'Nice to know my wicked sis.' Kurloz signed.
"I'm serious!" You cling to Kurloz as you speak. Totally forgetting about what you had wanted to tell him in the first place.
'Woah motherfucker! That's a little too close." Kurloz signed, blushing behind his skull makeup.
"Kurry! You have magical, miracle, delicious Faygo Bushes!" You squeezed Kurloz, Kurry, closer with every word. If it wasn't blatantly obvious by this point...you...love Faygo, a drink that is highly renowned in the subjuggulator religion.
'I've always had them. Can you please get off of me? It's getting hard to breathe.'
"Oh, sorry Kurry." You uncling to Kurloz. You gaze at the majesty that is Faygo Bushes and think 'I know that I came here to do something, what was it?'
'Hey, lil mama.' Kurloz signs. 'I have t
Since the day he hatchedIt was late at night, and the room was completely dark, save for a small flickering candle on a desk beside the nearby window. For many pones, such light wouldn't have been enough to do any real reading, but for Twilight, she'd grown used to it. This was not the first late-night study session she'd done, and it wouldn't be the last. She was occupying herself with her latest book, a tome on all the knowledge ponies had about dragons, the most ferocious creatures known to their kind.
Recent events had made her realise just how little she knew about them. For it was only a few short hours ago that she and her friends, Rarity and Rainbow Dash, had been given a first-hand experience with a few dangerous specimens. But the experience had all been worth it, because now, they'd managed to save one who was very dear to her. Spike, her "number one assistant", who had gone to the dragon migration to find out more about what it meant to be a dragon, as well as to perhaps find others of his family.

Shinigami x reader - Pocky game (Shinji)Heya~ sorry for the wait minna!
"Who's there...oh, you." Shinji walked over to the rustling bushes in the park and saw Rangiku's face.
"No, it's _______!" She shoved you into his arms.
With your crush currently processing what just happened, Rangiku made a run for it. Shinji took a close look at you and saw the pocky. You smiled awkwardly and gave it to him, asking if he would play it with you.
"What for?" He asked.
"Because..." you couldn't give a good reason really.

30DoW: Companion - Safe and Sound I don't even know if you exist.
All I know is I fall asleep with a presence at my side, that I never feel alone in my deepest depths.
Sometimes I wonder if it's just the loneliness getting to me. I live along, eat along, may as well work alone. I don't get along with other people, never have. So maybe I made you up, to fill in that gaping hole that was left where my relationships would have been.
But I don't hear you speak, I don't see you. You'd think that if my mind had gone through the trouble of losing its sanity, I'd have come up with something more thorough.
All I have is the feel of this presence, the aching to touch you, to know you.
The want of something more.
Keep in Touch!
